26 July 2025 – Garibaldi Annex (Parker Street at Slocan)

Just a quick reminder about Little Lantern Light this Saturday evening at 6:30 at Garibaldi Annex. The craft tables were jammed at the final workshop on Wednesday, so there will be plenty of lanterns brightening our streets!

No lantern? No problem! You can make a simple one at Garibaldi on Saturday. Easy peasy.

Or, you can just sit back and enjoy the festivities. Bring a friend! Bring a picnic. Bring a blanket. Bring your favourite chair!

Local band “Church of Bones” will kick things off at 6:30.

The field will be full of fun and games for the young and young at heart.

And…just before the sun sets “Streets of Loretta” will perform. 

The lanterns will be lit around 9:30 for the parade up to the big trees on William Street.

And, after sparkling up the neighbourhood, it’s back to the school for a special performance by “The Fire Dancers”!

Yes, all this is actually happening! Don’t miss out!
