A July Celebration for the Whole Family!

Little Lantern Workshops
The fun begins on Monday, July 7th at 6:30. Come to the covered playground at Garibaldi Annex (1025 Slocan) and learn to make your lantern. All workshops are free and all you need to bring is your enthusiasm. Attend as many workshops as you’d like. There are some in the evenings and others on weekend mornings.
Little Lantern Light Celebration
Mark your calendar for July 26th at 6:30 pm and come to the main event, the Little Lantern Light Celebration. Bring a picnic! There will be live music, fire dancers and games, all leading up to the big lantern parade around the neighbourhood.

Volunteers Needed
Your help on July 26th would be most appreciated. This is a community event, created by your neighbours. Help is needed to set up (and clean up) at Garibaldi Annex and to act as Little Lantern Light parade marshals to guide people around the parade route. No experience necessary!
